It was an ok campground. Mountain Lake Campgrounds, did have a pool or lake to swim in and does allow pets, but however, I was not pleased with the gravel roads. It was dusty on the dry days which made for a lot of cleaning inside the camper. I was to be relaxing, not cleaning. Also, you must travel up a sort of step hill just to get to the main office. I am not sure if I would visit this place again.

We stayed at the Fox Fire KOA RV Resort in Milton WV and enjoyed it greatly. This campground is under new owners who were very friendly. They showed each camper to their site and made sure they were on the right sites. If you needed any help the owners were more then happy to help out. This campground was well maintained and clean. The bathrooms were nice and clean as well as the laundry room. I would recommend this campground to anyone. If you are staying for one night or 15 nights, this is a great place to spend a nice, relaxing day or vacation.

I was not pleased with this campground. To begin with, they do not allow pets, Battle Run does not have full hookup and at times it would take a few hours of waiting in line to dump your tanks. It does have a nice lake, but again, I was not pleased with this campground all in all.
